Illustrator
Hi, I’m Naz—an illustrator based in Brisbane, Australia.
As a 3rd culture kid with Filipino roots, brought up in the Middle East (Kuwait), and now raising my little family in Australia, my work reflects a mix of cultures and experiences that I hope resonates with everyone.
Becoming a parent helped me focus on what truly matters and prioritise projects that bring value to me and my clients/audience. This shift allowed me to transition from working on countless custom commissions as a children’s illustrator to designing my own figurine and embracing the art style I genuinely love.
My signature style often features rough ink sketches—a look born out of my toddler’s unpredictable nap schedules, ranging from zero to 30 minutes. This race-against-the-clock process taught me to embrace imperfection and focus on the essentials.
Whether it’s personalised illustrations, exclusive collaborations, or limited-edition art pieces, my goal is always to create meaningful work that connects with people.
At the heart of it all, I’m a mom to my son, who inspires so much of my creativity, and a hard worker who loves nothing more than turning a blank page into something badass.
